MR. KENNY SONDOYI

Mr. Kenny Sondoyi is a seasoned development practitioner with over 20 years of experience in program management, strategic leadership, and child-focused interventions. He has provided strategic oversight and leadership in the development and implementation of country strategies, overseeing both development and humanitarian programs across various sectors.


With extensive expertise in programme portfolio management, Mr. Sondoyi has led the design, execution, and evaluation of 30+ programs, managing a workforce of over 300 staff and an annual budget of $50 million. His work spans maternal and child health, education, economic development, livelihoods, WASH, and child protection. He has played a pivotal role in stakeholder engagement, collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and donors to enhance program impact and sustainability.


His leadership experience includes working with multi-donor-funded projects, driving improvements in program quality, execution, and accountability. He has been instrumental in the development and revision of national strategies, strengthening program sustainability and effectiveness.


As a Board Member of the Nate Foundation, Mr. Sondoyi brings strategic insight and expertise in inclusive development, resource mobilization, and community-driven programming. His leadership strengthens the Foundation’s mission to empower children with intellectual and developmental disabilities through impactful and sustainable initiatives.


He holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management, a BSc in Agricultural Economics, and is ACCA-certified, with additional certifications in project and grant management. His expertise in financial oversight, program sustainability, and multi-sectoral collaboration makes him a valuable asset to the Foundation.
